My name is Annalise Crescenzo and I am a student at the State University of New York at Oswego. I am a Marketing major and I am delighted that this is my second semester interning as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista! There are three things you should know about me: I’m constantly on the search for unique pieces to add to my closet, heels are my preferred choice of footwear and I have a fear of wasting a good outfit on an insignificant day.
Fashion and Aaron Carter will always be my first loves. It is truly underrated how pairing the right clothes together can make a person feel unstoppable, and if someone compliments you on your outfit, it’s like pure ecstasy. I treat everywhere I go like the runway. Even if I’m just going to the library, when I feel that my look is on point, there is nothing I can’t do.
For my personal style, I like to mix it up based on my mood. I’ll wake up one day, throw on my favorite pair of jeans with an oversized button-down and be out the door. The next day, I might wake up and decide I’m feeling edgy and wear my killer thigh high boots and rock it. I get my inspiration for fashion from flipping through more issues of Harper’s Bazaar than I’ll ever admit to and from observing people’s street style. Whenever I see a look I like, I’ll recreate it with my own unique twist. My latest obsession is the denim on denim trend. I decided to give this look a try by pairing a denim button-down with distressed denim shorts and the perfect pair of studded nude heels.
I’m super excited to be able to pair my love for fashion and my interest in photography together to showcase the many styles seen around SUNY Oswego’s campus.
