STYLE GURU BIO: Anna Bloch

Hey y’all! I’m Anna Bloch, and I’m so happy to be interning with CollegeFashionista for the spring semester!

I’m a sophomore at Kent State University and I’m majoring in Fashion Merchandising!
I can’t design and make a dress like a talented design major, but hopefully I can show you a sense of my style, and how I view the fashion world through my eyes!
When I decided what I wanted to major in, fashion was essentially something that just came to me. Nothing else sounded interesting! With that being said, as I am going through my second year of being in Kent State’s fashion school, I find myself learning endlessly about the fashion industry as a whole; from fabrics to the retail functions. Although I still don’t know where I want to end up in the future, I am confident that my love and knowledge of fashion will lead me in the right direction; towards the career that I know will allow me to, not only love what I do, but to succeed and excel in my future position.

So, what about me? I’m definitely a nerd and spend endless hours on school work, but when I’m not in school mode, I’m usually curled up in bed watching America’s Next Top Model or House of DVF. My favorite designer is Elie Saab; I’m astounded by his intricate, feminine and timeless gowns. Food could be considered another passion of mine!
I would like to believe that I am particularly good at eating peanut butter straight out of the jar! I love dogs, and in the future want two French bulldogs, one named Bagel, and one named Doughnut, (so I really love food if you didn’t believe me!). Family means the absolute world to me, they are my best friends! An interesting fact about me is that I’m a triplet. I have two sisters, born on the same day! We all go to different colleges and it’s definitely hard sometimes, but they are my best friends and we make the most of the time we have together!

I’m so blessed to have been given this opportunity and can’t wait to start sharing my fashion thoughts with you! Again, I’m so excited to have you all here and let’s have a RAD semester!
