STYLE GURU BIO: Angela Lemp

Hey y’all! My favorite time of year for fashion has arrived… fall! Yay! I am so excited to be back again with CollegeFashionista this year as a returning Style Guru. This semester I will be back at the University of Tampa as a SOPHOMORE now—wait what? Time really does fly when you’re having fun. My intended major is still graphic design; this fall I will be loaded up on art classes, no complaints there. I am so excited to continue studying graphic design and learn new things as I go!

Working in fashion retail has kept me on my toes regarding the latest trends. This fall season we will become very familiar with chokers, natural and organic color palettes and of course my favorite… suede. During the summer I often found myself throwing on denim shorts or chinos paired with any cute tank. My Jack Rogers are obviously a go-to with any outfit; speaking of that, I need to look into grabbing a new pair for the school year—hello back-to-school shopping! My love for gold will never cease. I am still working at Kendra Scott, and yes, my jewelry collection is constantly growing. P.S. If y’all haven’t checked out the KS fall 2016 collection, go look… right now.

In my previous Style Guru Bio, I noted some of my favorite styles and trends. My style icon still remains Jackie Kennedy—she’s timeless, duh. Although I love a preppy look, this fall I’m excited to switch it up and go for a more bohemian vibe, as it’s only fitting for the time of year. Oh, and I am not joking when I say that I already have about six different suede pieces sitting in an online shopping cart right now as we speak; the addiction is too real. As of right now, my top favorite stores to shop at include francesca’s, J.Crew, Nordstrom, Express and Zara.

The photos featured in this post show me wearing a simple black v-neck, olive joggers, black suede wedge booties and a black choker. I also grabbed a felt floppy hat and a pair of cat eye sunnies to go with the look. Some of the pieces that I’m sporting give a little sneak peak at what our fall trends will look like this year, and boy am I pumped. Stay tuned ladies, as new posts will be hitting the blog on the first of each month. Good luck as we jump into another fabulous semester!
