Hey Fashionistas/os, my name is Angel Johnson and I’m a East Carolina University senior who’s studying fashion merchandising with a minor in business. I am so excited to be interning for the first time. I have been stalking CollegeFashionista since my freshman year, and decided it was now or never to apply, so here I am!
On a typical day, you can find me at Starbucks hunting down my stars, scrolling through Instagram and watching too much of Keeping Up With The Kardashians with a little bit of Girls.
I like to think of fashion as a way of life. There is never a time that I haven’t over thought putting on sweats to go to the grocery store. It’s something that you can’t miss in any given day. There will always be that one person that stands out beyond the rest, or that person who blends in with the crowd so well that you can’t help but notice them. I see my style as ideas chemically blended together to where I almost have down the perfect formula.
This semester, I am trying to push my limits in fashion and stand out. Fall is my favorite time of year with leather pants and fur galore. Since we are not there yet in eastern North Carolina, this look is meant to highlight trends that I noticed this summer. I decided to combine this off-the-shoulder top with some white jeans I found at T.J.Maxx. These nude heels and gold hoops are the perfect go-to combination to let your inner diva out.
