Hey Fashionistas/os, I am so excited to be returning this semester as a Style Guru. I am a college student with a love for all things fashion. I am about to move back to Iowa City for my fourth semester of college (ah! That doesn’t seem right!), and I cannot wait to share my adventure and fashion tips with all of you. As a matter of fact, despite all the hatred on the winter weather, winter is one of my favorite seasons…for fashion at least.
Layering is one of my favorite things about the winter; I love that is easy to throw on something cute before running out the door to class. Sometimes it is hard to find the motivation to look cute on a day-to-day basis when all you are doing is going to class but having key basics in my closet and layering to switch things up can help with that. I also love when I can switch up an outfit from a daytime look to a nighttime look, and once again, layering is my favorite trick for that.
Bodysuits are my obsession right now, whether it is long or short sleeve, fancy or casual, there are so many options. I love the sleek look of a body suit and high waisted jeans. I recently paired my tank body suit with my favorite ripped high-waisted jeans and a big coat. It is a perfect look for a day of shopping, night out, dinner date, or anything else. My staples that I pair with almost everything I wear in the winter are my black booties and my big white coat. I am so excited for a RAD semester!
