Hello, fellow trendsetters and fashion aficionados! My name is Amanda. I am a senior business marketing major at the University of San Francisco. This is my fifth semester with CollegeFashionista as a Style Guru and my first semester as a Social Media Intern. It is also my last semester with CollegeFashionista. I graduate this May!
As I begin the final stretch of my college career, the feeling is bittersweet. I have waited for this moment for the past four years and now that it steadily approaches, I am reminded of the many amazing things that have made my college experience that much more incredible. With that being said, in the next couple months these experiences will be part of the distant past but nevertheless stay as amazing memories, especially my time with CollegeFashionista.
In all of my previous bios, I’ve mentioned how I see myself as a fashion mood ring and always give the advice to be bold. I try to take my own advice as much as I can by trying new looks every now and then. So in honor of my last Style Guru Bio, I decided to channel my inner chic “city girl.” For this look, I’m sporting a Calvin Klein purple faux fur vest (I never knew I needed one until now), a black turtleneck, black jeans, and my favorite black lace up heels. I recently found this vest during holidays and instantly fell in love with the texture and color. I decided that it would be the focus of this outfit, the perfect statement piece to complement the all-black outfit underneath.
As much as I like to stick my everyday style, I always enjoy the times I do mix it up so as always I encourage you to try new things, be bold, and be you. Here’s to an amazing year and a semester of new beginnings.
