Hello fellow Fashionistas! My name is Alexis Grieco, and I am going to be a senior this fall at Rutgers University. My major is communications and my minor is human resource management. I currently work full time as a manger within the wonderful company of Michael Kors, where I have been taught so much about the upcoming trends! My dreams are to remain within the fashion industry, and work my way up to becoming a visual merchandiser! This is my first internship and I cannot wait to get started!
Hmm… what does my style consist of? I think it is safe to say that my style lies between boho and chic. As I put together an outfit, I usually tend to go for more of the rugged or rustic look, but always make sure I bring something along to spruce it up super quick! In addition, I like simple outfits! It’s always fun to throw on a dress or romper and touch it up with a bunch of necklaces, but it’s important to never overdo it! Although my style changes quite frequently, I think it’s safe to say, I will never be going anywhere without a watch! I believe they are timeless pieces that add a small bit of class to any outfit!
Being that I’m 5’9”, I struggle a ton trying to find rompers (I own 3 where the average girl probably has 20). However, I hit the jackpot after finding this beautiful fall colored romper that is extremely comfortable. One can wear this romper however they choose, whether it be with sandals and a messy bun, or with heels for a girl’s night out! Although it is still summer, fall is approaching quickly so make sure you’re always taking a little jacket with you, because these nights are getting cold! This Madewell jacket does just the trick, as it also gives the outfit a bit of a more put together look! Now I have already mentioned that I’m pretty tall, so it’s rare anyone will catch me in a pair of heels, wedges or booties. However, I could not pass up the great deal I was getting on these 424 Fifth studded block heels! They can literally be worn with any and every outfit!
