STYLE GURU BIO: Alexis DiZenzo

The nickname I have earned for myself is Vogue. Not because I always look like she is right out of a fashion magazine (I don’t), but because I most definitely have more issues than Vogue. I embrace that.

The fashion aspect of Vogue is definitely something that I strive to achieve. It is definitely more glamorous than the having issues aspect. I embrace my craziness, and sometimes looking like a hot mess is actually quite appealing or at least I tell myself that.

I can be spotted at Lantern’s Point on Fairfield beach, or about half a mile down the road pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Digital Journalism at Fairfield University. When I am not at the beach, I like to spend my time in town wearing something cute, yet casual. I love a good pair of ripped jeans, some funky sandals and an interesting top. A top that you look at on the rack and think, “Who would ever wear this, it looks like it came out of my dad’s closet.”

I promise, it didn’t come out of my dad’s closet.

Fun Facts: I am addicted to mac and cheese, (I could probably survive all my life off it); my favorite fashion accessory is a passion tea lemonade from Starbucks; I am madly in love with Michael Kors and Jay Gatsby; I am extremely thankful for oversized totes that allow me to throw half my life in a bag and walk out the door.

Yes, the inside of my bag is a mess…similar to my style and personality!
