Hey all you fashion lovers! I’m beyond excited to be returning as a Style Guru for the fall. After completing my first summer semester with CollegeFashionista, I realized that spotting trends and blogging about fashion are not only two things I have been interested in, but are two things I could really see myself continuing to do in the future with my career.
For those of you who don’t know me, I am going into my junior year at Kent State University. I am a Fashion Merchandising major with a double minor in Marketing and Fashion Media. I have been a sales associate at Charlotte Russe for the past three years, which is where my love for fashion truly started from and has evolved over the years into what I want my career to be.
My style is more urban and you will usually see me in trendy over-sized clothes. I love to dress up and look nice, but still be very comfortable. When it comes to color I like to stick to neutrals, earth tones and my favorite color…black. I love to pair different things together that people would normally never think of wearing. I also love to style outfits for other people, and would love to pursue styling in the future.
Overall, I love everything about fashion and cannot wait to continue writing as a Style Guru this semester. Writing for CollegeFashionista has been a great learning experience so far. I cannot wait to see how much more I learn and grow this semester and to read all of the fabulous posts from my fellow Style Gurus!
