Hello fellow fashion lovers! After having such a #RAD summer semester as a Style Guru, I couldn’t imagine not being a part of the guru gang for another semester! I am so thankful to have been able to have such a positive learning experience within the world of fashion and blogging! I have had a fabulous summer of traveling abroad in France, Italy and Germany. I am looking forward to showing you some of the fashion tips that I picked up on while I was away.

In the upcoming fall semester, I am looking forward to growing as a writer and photographer. CollegeFashionista has helped me step out of my comfort zone and put myself out there. As far as photography goes, I had no prior experience before this internship. But, with a full semester under my belt, I am excited to say that I have made an incredible amount of progress with how I feel in front of a camera and behind the lens. I am no longer terrified with the idea of my writing being available to the public or seen by others who have similar interests.

Summer is coming to a close, but I am wearing off-the-shoulder tops for as long as the weather allows me to. An off-the-shoulder top, ripped ankle jeggings and ankle boots create a simple and stylish look. When I am choosing an outfit, I try to find the perfect combination of clothing items that will allow me to be stylish and comfortable for the day ahead.

As the weather begins to change, you will see my style change from simplistic and casual to layers, boots, hats and dark lipstick. Fall is also a time for big hair changes. As my ombre fades away, you may see my hair a little shorter and darker than you are used to seeing. It is nice to switch to short hair during the fall in the Pacific Northwest when the weather starts getting colder and wetter. With less hair, comes less responsibility and lot less hair to manage.

I am looking forward to another semester of bringing fashion inspiration to you all! I cannot wait to get to know my fellow style gurus and CollegeFashionista readers even more!
