Welcome to my world, beautiful angels! I’m going to jump straight into it and let you guys know a little more about myself. I’m Aixa Andion, a current student at Florida International University with the aspirations of going to Pharmacy School right after finishing my bachelor’s in Biology. Contradicting, right? What do biology and fashion have in common? Absolutely nothing, but that is the beauty of it, I was able to find two completely different things that make me wake up feeling happy and blessed every morning.
Enough about biology, let’s get down to the important stuff: What is in my closet? Along with plenty of pink and sparkle, bargain pieces that look high fashion without the high price tag make up a big percentage of my wardrobe. Although I do like to spoil myself every now and then, but let’s be honest, who doesn’t?
When I get dressed up every morning I like to reflect how I feel. Some days I will go for the extreme girly inspiration and look like I just walked off the set of Clueless, checkered skirts and all! There will be days that I wake up wanting to look like Vanessa Hudgens and wear a totally boho dress. The beauty of fashion is that it is a way of self-expression.
Being a college student I spend my days running around campus, as I’m assuming most of you do. Being a busy bee has never kept me from looking and feeling my best. Throwing on my favorite pair of high-waisted shorts, a simple white T-shirt, flannel around my waist and some killer boots seem to always do the trick when I have a long day ahead of me and do not want to sacrifice neither comfort nor fashion.
Most of my daily inspiration comes from magazines like Seventeen and Teen Vogue, as well as the people around me. I do not consider myself shy, so If I see someone wearing a piece I MUST have I will definitely go up to them and ask where it is from. Thus, allowing myself to combine trendy pieces with more high fashion ones and creating my own personal flair.
