STYLE ADVICE: Street Style and Snakeskin

Picking out an outfit during these colder months can be really hard! You want to look stylish but don’t want to suffer from the frigid temperatures. This Fashionista rocks the perfect street style winter outfit while remaining warm. Staying warm is important during the colder months, but having to sacrifice looking chic doesn’t have to happen.

Neutral colors are easy to keep in your closet as a college student because you can throw together a bunch of neutral pieces you are guaranteed a matching outfit. This chic Fashionista begins this look with her favorite pair of black jeans. They are high-waisted and the small rips at the knee add edge to the look. Not only do they bring the sharpness to the look but they pair well with this cropped turtleneck sweater from Aerie. The high-waisted pants and cropped sweater complement this Fashionista because they elongate her petite legs.

For me, the accessories are what really caught my eyes of this Fashionista, the shoes specifically. These booties really pull the dark and light of this outfit together. The heel makes the outfit look dressed up and trendy but the low heel makes it realistic for hiking across campus. The leather jacket layered over the sweater is ideal for a cool campus day. Not only does it keep this Fashionista warm, but it also completes the edgy look. This Fashionista also wears some delicate rings on her fingers to add some femininity to the look, the midi rings are very in right now and add the perfect amount of bling to the look.

This winter if you want to keep heads turning on campus as well as stay nice and warm, follow this Fashionista’s advice and stick with neutrals. Neutrals make it easy to grab and go in the morning and with a classic moto leather jacket paired with some funky statement accessories, pair it with a dark lip to make it look like you didn’t just roll out of bed for that 8 am!
