We were all shocked when Carrie Bradshaw opted to wear a label-less dress to her long awaited wedding to Mr. Big. However, in reality, how many Fashionistas and Fashionistos could agree to a strict label-less fashion diet? In all honesty, I know I couldn’t, and I’m certain that this Fashionisto would agree. Unless you’re a Real Housewife or Kardashian, it’s possible that your everyday attire may not consist of designer labels, but that doesn’t prevent you from having an equally fabulous outfit. Labels can also be used in moderation, and in some cases, all it takes is one label to make an outfit!
There’s no doubt that this guy has some serious style. He’s handsome, dapper and looks like a million bucks. Of course, the Hermès belt is the icing on the cake, but the rest the his outfit still rocks. His white pants are perfect for the summer, and brighten up any outfit day or night. The checkered design of his shirt is a much better choice rather than just a solid button-down. The blazer makes him look super professional and makes the outfit something he can wear to work or an internship.
A true Fashionisto knows that it’s all in the details. This Fashionisto focused on great sunglasses, trendy loafers and a classic designer belt. The sunglasses are perfect because they don’t pull focus away from the rest of the outfit, and the color works well with his skintone and hair color. His shoes, for a lack of better words, are to die for. They are probably the trendiest pair of men’s shoes that I’ve seen this season. The way he cuffed his pants just enough to accentuate his shoes is amazing, and the blue on the bottom of the shoes simply ties the outfit’s color scheme together.
Lastly, let’s pay attention to the fabulous Hermès belt. It’s a statement piece that always grabs attention, and has the power to make those around you envious. Regardless of this belt’s price, it’s something that you can wear to death once you own it. From dinner dates to days at work, it is the epitome of a perfect belt.
What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK?: “It’s not about what you wear, it’s about how you wear it. Even sweatpants look great with a touch of confidence.”
