STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Winter Wear And Hat Hair

Style Advice of the Week

Snow has welcomed its way into the charming woods of Western Massachusetts and I have a feeling it’s going to overstay its welcome. Staying warm and fashionable is a skill that today’s Fashionista has mastered.

A cashmere scarf and knit beanie are great ways to accessorize and I love the blue and pink combination she chose. Winter doesn’t have to be a dark and dreary season. Brighten up the short winter days with bright colors! This cheetah beanie is a fun way to liven up the winter day and model Karlie Kloss has been seen sporting the merchandise as well. If you’re looking to be a rebel in the fashion world, then check out this quirky ASOS eyebrow beanie. Rebecca Minkoff is also loving the beanie this winter. The look is stylish, bold and can instantly cover up a bad hair day.

Bundling up in a ginormous scarf feels great and looks amazing. This Fashionista chose a light pink cashmere scarf from The Salvation Army to soften up her ensemble. The light tones against the dark winter colors is a trend I am jumping on board with. It’s the best way to stand out in a sea of black jackets and dark blue sweaters. I love a good infinity scarf and Modcloth is a great place to snag one. Check out this cheeky circle scarf in taupe; I love that it looks like strands of yarn. Infinity scarves can be worn in multiple ways. Oscar De La Renta styles his infinity scarves over the models shoulders for a mod look. So get creative and try different ways to wear your infinity scarf.

This Fashionista told me that during this cold season, she is mainly focused on comfort. Her cords are actually leggings, which is a great way to maximize comfort. Her cool shoes are also by far the most comfortable brand of shoes known to feet—TOMS shoes.
