STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: When in Rome, Buy Accessories

December 15th, 2016 at 2:00am

My Fashionista of a roommate spent her summer in Europe and brought back some rad accessories! I have never been anywhere out of the United States, but this summer, I was basically living through my roommate’s Snapchats–pretending like I was in Europe with her. When this Fashionista came back to school for fall, I couldn’t wait to see all the cool clothes, shoes and accessories she had bought in Europe. But, I was mostly excited to see what I was going to borrow first.

In this look, our Fashionista is rocking an orange/copper colored tube top, bell bottom jeans, nude heels, gold rings and a big gold statement necklace.

This sweet and simple orange tube top can be purchased at Free People along with her bell bottom jeans. Free People is such a great store for getting basic essentials.

With bell bottom jeans being so long, it is often hard to find shoes to go with them. I think this Fashionista picked the perfect shoes for this look! She is wearing nude heels, by Sam Edelman, that she purchased at Nordstrom. Nordstrom is also one of my all-time favorite stores. They have everything from makeup to ball gowns.

Now, let’s talk accessories! This Fashionista is wearing a BEAUTIFUL big statement necklace she got from a little boutique in Rome, Italy! This necklace easily turns such a casual outfit into a dressy/flirty look! The best thing about this necklace is since it is from a boutique in Italy, no one else will have it! It’s one of a kind! You can find similar big statement necklaces at Zara and TopShop!

This Fashionista added a few fun gold rings, making this the perfect way to complete her outfit! All of these little gold rings are from the same boutique in Rome that she got her beautiful necklace from. Seeing her rock all these cool accessories makes me want to book a flight to Italy right now to buy myself some accessories!
