The cold breeze we were supposed to be anxious for has surprised most of us in South Texas. It’s amazing how the weather down here can change from one hour to another. One thing is for sure: temperatures will keep decreasing during the following months. Luckily, there are just a few days before the semester finally comes to its end. While on campus, it’s always necessary to stay warm from class to class, especially these last couple of weeks while making our way to the library for finals study sessions.
With those final projects and last exams due, there’s not enough time for many of us to easily choose that perfect look that will make us feel comfortable, warm and can fit into the fall/winter trends. I know the typical combination between a sweater and a pair of leggings can bore all of us from time to time, but today’s Fashionista captured my attention by layering up and adding some texture to these two pieces.
I spotted today’s Fashionista matching up a simple pair of leggings with a fun textured sweater. This sweater’s cotton texture is a flawlessly warm cover up and perfect for a girly, confident look. Know how to pair up your leggings like this Fashionista did with this selection of sweaters from different color palettes and similar textures from Chicwish. As I’ve said before, a statement necklace is a powerful accessory to accentuate everything. During the winter, it’s never too formal to pair up fine jewelry with a collar shirt. This Fashionista follows the trend with a similar crystal piece like these from Shourouk’s collection.
One last thing to remember is to layer up the look. Layering up is the key to prevent the freezing wind to get you and fits perfectly in the fall/winter trends. Add a scarf to the combination or your favorite coat to bring all of the pieces together.
Just a few more days before we are finally free my Fashionistas and Fashionistos! This week have a happy start of the winter season by looking up for your textured detailed pieces.
