As two-piece sets continue to make waves in the fashion scene, the matching outfit option seems to better itself with each season that passes. This summer being no exception, matching tops and bottoms are more popular than ever, and are available for multiple occasions. Being one of my personal favorite looks as of current, two-piece outfits make for a cute alternative in place of dresses, rompers, and other one-pieces, and accommodate for a variety of styles as well as body types. I spotted this Fashionista as she readied herself for an afternoon wedding. Her silky black and white floral set, comprised of a crop top and a high-waisted midi skirt with pockets, mixes the fun aesthetic of a two-piece with elegance. Considering this combination, her two-piece is a perfect and tasteful option for any formal event.
Having a simple color palette to work with, this Fashionista opted to pair her set with a red lip in an effort to add contrast to her overall look. With the red lip working as the primary pop of color, she kept other elements simple, including the remainder of her make-up, her silver accessories and her suede heels.
In the event that the temperature gets cooler, as it surely will come nightfall, this Fashionista could throw a long, oversized cardigan on top of her outfit, or she could put on a lightweight parka.
