STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Timely Tribal and Top Knots

Style Advice of the Week

If you are anything like me, then you are running late for class 99% of the time. When you are rushing around in the morning and don’t have much time to put a lot of thought into your outfit, this look is perfect for you. The key is a funky sweater to layer over a plain shirt and leggings. If it’s cold outside just throw your jacket on top along with a knit scarf. Twist your hair into a cute top knot like this Fashionista and you’ll be out the door in fifteen minutes.

Most people would love to go to class everyday and look cute but they also want to put in minimal effort. A great investment is a signature pair of boots that stand out, it is one of the easiest ways to add a little bit of individuality to any outfit. The tan combat boots in this picture with the gold plating are perfect to show off some personality. Also, there is no need to break the bank because you can buy this pair or one of many choices at Charlotte Russe. However, if you would like to invest a little more money in your winter kicks I would recommend Dr. Martens or Timberland boots. They are both great quality and have plenty of different styles. Pair your boots with a pair of high socks or leg-warmers for an added touch.

Being comfortable is a must when you have class all day so a tribal cardigan like this one is perfect. There are so many different patterns that you can choose from at places like Forever 21 or Urban Outfitters.

Another clutch accessory is a fun pair of reading glasses, they don’t even have to be real! This Fashionista got her glasses when she was thrifting in her hometown. I think glasses are great because if you are short on time you can just throw a pair on and get away without putting any makeup on and leaving those contacts at home for a day.
