Transitioning from season to season is something that all Fashionistas and Fashionistos dread, however it is also something that always needs to be done. While you never want to rush into wearing your winter sweaters after a long summer spent in crop tops and high-waisted shorts, you also don’t want to be caught wearing espadrilles and sundresses in 50 degree temperatures.
This Fashionista caught my eye for two reasons. One reason was because of the tribal print on her shorts and the other was because her outfit is the perfect mix of both late summer and early fall due to the colors and the pairing of the shorts and cardigan.
The colors in this Fashionista’s outfit are perfect for transitioning from season to season because it showcases the bright colors that correspond to the summertime next to the richer colors that tend to be associated more with fall. To make the outfit more suited for the transitional period from summer to fall, this Fashionista paired the colorful shorts with a richer maroon color. Over her blouse, this Fashionista wore a cardigan so that the she would be better prepared for the wind chill and the sudden temperature drops that tend to happen in the fall.
To top off the entire look, this Fashionista paired her outfit with ballet flats. The ballet flats are perfect because it buries the sandals that you have been wearing all summer without rushing you into knee-high boots.
Overall, this Fashionista’s outfit is the perfect outfit as the temperatures begin to drop and the days begin to get shorter. So enjoy your first pumpkin spice lattes of the season in style and don’t rush into any seasonal changes too soon, but also don’t hold onto seasons longer than you should.
