January is the start of a New Year. Everyone is busy trying to keep their New Year’s resolutions, trying new things, or simply trying to keep up with everyday life. Between the holidays, birthdays and celebrations taking place I find that it feels like I need an outfit for everything. Enter the solution to all of our problems: neutrals. As some of you may know, neutrals include, but are not limited to, colors such as black, brown, gray, white or tan. Using neutrals in your outfit makes dressing up or making an outfit more casual much easier. Personally, I love the look of a neutral sweater with the perfect white blouse. They allow the outfit to become very versatile. Neutrals have been a timeless trend in fashion throughout the years. Neutrals come in all forms of fashion, from a pair of white pants to a black beanie.
This Fashionista shows the use of neutrals perfectly. She chooses to keep her outfit causal as she pairs her tan sweater and leggings with a scarf with a pop of color. Also, she chose to include a pair of owl earrings in her ensemble.
Another way to keep the neutral outfit casual would be to add a necklace or some cute tennis shoes. To dress the outfit up some dark wash jeans and heels could be added. You can still have some variety to your personal style with adding neutrals to your outfits. This lace crop top is a great way to show a more feminine style. While on the other hand, this leather moto jacket is an edie way to include neutrals.
Perhaps the most beneficial part of including neutrals in your daily outfit would be the range of options and flexibility it allows, avoiding the stress and hassle a complex outfit could bring in the morning.
Find your own personal twist or way to include neutrals in your everyday life and I promise you won’t be let down.
