STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Switch It Up

Hello Fashionistos/as! Taylor here, with some more fashion advice. For all of my fellow college students, we know how tough school can be. Sometimes we may not want to get up and put together a full outfit. Some days we may not even have the time. Everyone has those off days; we may oversleep, forget an assignment, or even pull an all-nighter. But, even on those days we want to look nice because when you look good, you feel good!

This Fashionista is rocking an outfit that is perfect for one of those stressful days. Who can go wrong with a simple T-shirt and jeans? The cream scarf adds to the fall theme of the outfit. The combination of the olive button-down shirt and adidas sneakers is what makes this outfit stand out. She added just the right amount of color to this outfit without overdoing it.

During the fall season, it is easy to overdo it with lots of dark colors and different textures. Try to balance out your outfits, and don’t be afraid to spice things up every once in a while. I personally get a little too used to wearing a sweater, leggings, boots and a scarf every day during the colder months. One thing that we are all guilty of is sticking to what we know. Go for one of those colors that are a bit out of your comfort zone. You could even do something drastic like dying your hair. This Fashionista dyed her hair a gorgeous red which is perfect for the season. You never know what you might like unless try. Fashion is all about trying new things. If you don’t like one thing you can always try another. That’s the beauty of it.
