Style Advice of the Week

There are very few clothing items that I love more than sweaters. From knit sweaters to patterned sweaters, you can find infinite possibilities with this one item. The best part about them is that you can ideally wear them in all types of weather. I like wearing them under vests in the fall/winter because you can still stay warm, and you can wear them with a skirt or a pair of capris in the spring. Going to school in Minnesota, my advice to you Fashionistas is that you can never have “too many” sweaters.

I spotted this Fashionista looking comfortable and cute in her black and white patterned, long sleeve sweater. The pattern stood out to me and it looks and feels so comfy. She is wearing it along with some black combat boots, dark skinny jeans, a white knit scarf and a small cross-body purse. Not only did this cool, edgy pattern stand out to me, but her accessories as well. I love the infinity scarf with this sweater because it just shows an extra touch of this Fashionista’s style without over doing it. An outfit like this could be worn for essentially many different occasions as well. It’s perfect for a shopping day, quick lunch or even to class.

Something that I would add to this outfit is a colored pair of leggings or maybe a colored scarf just to add something other than just black and white—although her bag does add a nice splash of color to this outfit. I also love her combat, lace-up boots but for a change, I might add a pair of taller riding boots for warmth.
