Sundays at Westmont are the day to bring out the sundresses, heels and collared shirts. Students gather together on campus to head downtown to church and brunch. Girls dress up in skirts and dresses and Fashionistos rock anything from flannels to bow ties.
This Fashionista’s classic style caught my attention one Sunday. Her tea length polka-dot dress is a classy way to keep cool during this Santa Barbara heat wave. The black and white pattern isn’t too overwhelming but still makes a statement. Her black kitten heels lengthened her legs and accentuated the classic cut of her dress. Her straw Eddie Bauer bag added a bit of beachy California flair to her outfit.
To try this look opt for a tea length dress instead of a tight mini dress. It will add a little bit of a timeless Audrey Hepburn feel to the look. Adding heels will make your legs appear longer and more toned, and who doesn’t want that right?! Heels also allow your dress to emphasize your body in all of the right places.
