Well we’ve finally gotten through finals and reached the end of the spring semester, which means HI SUMMER. WE’VE ALL MISSED YOU SM. And with summer comes countless style moments like this one!
I was instantly drawn to this Fashionista as soon as I saw her strutting her stuff around campus. Her dress really shows off her curves and had people doing double takes as she walked by. I really love her color choice. Olive green is my favorite color to wear and can easily be worn in all four seasons.
What’s nice about her bodycon dress is that it’s a soft, knitted lightweight material, so it’s perfect for those hot summer days. What I really love about it, though, is the details; it’s a halter neck (which is super versatile, the necklace options are never-ending), and it has a really cool back cutout. She paired her dress with black shades and black sandals.
Over the years, when we would think of summer dresses we would probably think of a free-flowing material with spaghetti straps, but this dress totally breaks the rules, in the best ways possible. It’s form-fitting in all the right places and is so, so edgy. This Fashionista’s look will literally have you green with envy.
What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “Dresses are always my go-to in the summer because you can just throw one on and instantly be chic no matter what you’re doing. My two latest obsessions are pairing white sneakers with a tight dress to add comfort to style, and topping off my look with a choker. Who doesn’t love a fashion risk?”
