STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Suave and Debonair

It’s Monday morning and I’m on my fourth cup of coffee, but this Fashionisto, enjoying his moment in the sun, is making the start of the week a little brighter. Although the sun is shining in little Wichita, we surely are transitioning into those dark fall colors on campus.

This Fashionisto is sporting a tucked-in red polo atop navy chinos. When it comes to wearing bottoms, most men are set in their ways of denim jeans, khakis, athletic shorts or even this new craze for joggers. However, this Fashionisto rocks the chic look of blue chinos! In no way am I saying to abandon all other types of pants, however, chinos’ light cotton fabric provides an effortless way to look sharp in the sunshine.

Wearing a collared top is also an easy way to look polished. However, if the shirt goes untucked, it will undo the Fashionisto’s cleaned-up and put together vibes. To top off his look, he also lightly accessorizes with classy sunglasses and a simple watch. Altogether, though very simple, his outfit is a pristine representation of a well dressed student who is ready to charm his way through school. Fashion seems to energize us in ways that venti cappuccinos can’t!

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “To be honest, I see pieces that I find aesthetically pleasing and trendy, and I purchase them. With the clothes that I have, I put an outfit together. My advice? Look at what the Italians are wearing and try to emulate every bit of their style.”
