Have you ever wanted to try a new look, new hair color or maybe a new attitude for a day? I know I have. We’re constantly inspired by people around us to challenge ourselves to be our best version. It’s important to stick to your own aesthetic when expressing yourself through clothes. But sometimes you just have to go off the beaten path and try something wild, crazy and fun.
I’ll be honest, normally when I’m looking for someone to shoot for a photo I look at the outfit first. But this week, this Fashionista stopped me in my tracks when I saw her outfit, hair and most importantly her confidence. Confidence can be a women’s number one accessory. Some of the most memorable women in history such as Audrey Hepburn and Coco Chanel had the most exuberant confidence. After talking with this Fashionista for some time, I learned she just died her hair ombré just a few days ago when she was over her natural black hair. She said her new hair has inspired her to take more fashion risks and experiment more with different styles she normally wouldn’t have. Apart from her hair, this Fashionista’s monochromatic look is versatile and can be appropriate for many occasions. Monochromatic looks can be difficult to pull off, but with accessories it’s an easier task. This outfit can be a challenge, but as this Fashionista proves, doing something a little different and outside of your comfort zone is a wonderful thing not only for your look, but simply for a positive mindset.
It’s important to never stop allowing yourself to grow as an individual or fashion star. Take calculated risks and be pleasantly surprised by the outcomes.
