Style Advice of the Week

How many days until summer? I’m so over the snow and winter here in New York. It’s been beyond chilly these past few weeks. Choosing the right outfits to stay warm can be quite the challenge, especially on a college campus. While walking a few minutes to class in the snow and cold, you have to bundle up. However as soon as you get inside, the heat is on full blast and now you’re sweating. Sound familiar? Well an outfit like the one this Fashionista is rocking is perfect for this time of year on a college campus.

Snow boots are an essential in the snow, obviously. This Fashionista is rocking a pair of gray Hunter boots. These are great and stylish boots for this season. Fun fact: they even come with cute colored warm inserts to keep your feet extra warm.

This black puff Patagonia vest is also great for the winter season. It’s simple and lightweight, but if you wear the right pieces underneath, you’ll be sure to be warm all day. This Fashionista has the vest in black, a great neutral color that can easily be paired with a bunch of different outfits. Also, this vest is easy to throw on while you’re running out to door to class. Take a cue from this Fashionista and wear a warm detailed sweater underneath the vest. She chose to wear a gray one to match her boots. Bundle up with a cute scarf to pull the whole outfit together. A pattern like the one this Fashionista is rocking is a great way to add a pop of color. Happy snow days!
