STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Skirts Do Survive Winter

Style Advice of the Week

>Who would have ever thought summer trends could outlast the coldest season? Not me. Yet, this Fashionista pulls off an unimaginable style that looks rather breezy than warm. The good thing is that it’s possible. This week, many Fashionista’s strutted the windy streets in stylish winter accessories that made sterile season illuminate. Neutral colored booties and quilted scarves are the main attraction this season. However, the biggest of them all are skirts! It doesn’t matter if it’s freezing cold, snowing or raining; Fashionista’s are parading the streets in various styles of skirts.

This Fashionista manage to stay warm in a flowy maxi skirt paired with grey bomber jacket. I admired this look for a couple reasons. This Fashionista took a daring idea and made it possible. Skirts as well as shorts don’t have to die with summer season. A pair of sweater tights, leg warmers or thigh-high socks is just a few options to keep your legs toasty. In addition, I recommend you add layers accordingly. If you’re planning to spend most of your day outdoors wearing a skirt, I would consider something longer in length and heavier in material.

Achieving this look isn’t hard; however staying warm might be a challenge. Choose the right skirt and accompany it with accessories that will leave you both warm and fashionable. With the holiday’s right around the corner, finding these items will be a breeze. Try searching in stores like; H&M, Topshop and American Apparel, the steep prices may seem a bit much but the quality is durable. This week, remember to bundle up and stay warm.
