As we all know, if it’s cute and it’s comfortable, I’m all over it. While this oversized T-shirt and legging combo fits the category for cute and comfy, this particular outfit has a special component. When I found this Fashionista, she introduced me to an awesome trend to include in my wardrobe: pieces that benefit a good cause.
Her T-shirt comes from Ivory Ella, an online clothing store that donates 10 percent of its net profits to savetheelephants.org. Save the Elephants is a nonprofit organization specializing in wildlife conservation of elephants. The two organizations work together in an effort to help end elephant poaching worldwide.
Ivory Ella primarily offers adorable T-shirts, such as the one my Fashionista is wearing. They have styles for men and women, but their site is not limited to T-shirts that feature a cute elephant. Ivory Ella also sells necklaces, water bottles, phone cases and more. Proceeds from each of these products benefits Save the Elephants.
While this Fashionista’s outfit sends a great message, it portrays some popular fashion trends as well. Oversized long sleeve T-shirts are all the rage these days. Some sport Greek letters, while others are printed with a university name across the back. Regardless of what’s on them, they are incredibly comfortable and perfect for the cooler days that have finally begun. A simple pair of leggings with some combat boots completes this cozy look. This outfit is great for a long day in class or a lazy weekend. Not to mention, if your oversized T-shirt benefits a good cause, it should be worn all the time!
