Sometimes men don’t realize the importance of fashion. Most of them just buy the essentials of T-shirts and jeans and believe fashion is more for women and requires more knowledge to combine and create a look. What they don’t realize is the simplicity in the details of one pattern or the change of one color to transform something essential into something great. Today’s Fashionisto is wearing camouflage print pants, a basic white tee and light blue sneakers. Who would’ve thought combining camouflage with light blue shoes? This camouflage pants are worn in a softer way than I’m normally used to seeing them. Maybe it’s the combination of the light blue sneakers or perhaps the lighter version of camouflage colors with the white tee. This outfit was made to stand out in the crowd in a modern kind of way.
One of the most expert designers to blend camouflage patterns is Dries Van Noten inspired by the 19th Century camoufleurs. This print is normally used in hard pieces and shapes reflecting tough military looks, but Van Noten shows a calm and fancy way to mix the pattern and make it tailored.
It is time to change simple jeans to manly prints like camouflage, and Nike sneakers for something more fun and comfortable as Keds shoes or even Sperry’s for the summer days with cargo pants. Guys, it is all about one simple change to become one unique individual.
