STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Refreshing Denim

Seeing a denim top worn in the winter is like cracking open a cold can of soda; you can’t help but release a satisfied, “Ahh.” When most people think about wearing denim, they picture a pair of your average blue jeans. Personally, I think of a pair of light wash denim mom jeans that would be worn by DJ Tanner in Full House. But this Fashionista had her own plan; she decided to whip out her denim in shirt form on this cold snowy day.

Why is denim such a big deal? Because it is probably the most versatile material out there. It has the ability to make your outfit super casual, give it a ‘90s twist or even a little bit of class. We usually see denim being worn more in the fall, or even in the summer with shorts. Think about it; you rarely see a good denim top in the winter time. It honestly just felt surprisingly satisfying to catch this Fashionista sporting her denim in the snow.

This Fashionista’s chunky black scarf, loose bracelets and rings and duck boots lead her denim to a relaxed feel. Yet for some reason she looks quite put together. The denim stands out amongst both the accessories and the snow to exude a look that is classy and refreshing for winter.

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “No need to overdress for class. Just be cute and comfortable with some great accessories. So comfort is key with attention to detail!”
