In summer you always find people experimenting with fashion. Everyone tries to wear the latest and greatest items and styles to look more “in” than everyone else. The hard part about this is that the temperature outside does not allow for a broad array of experimentation, but rather keeps you confined to boring tank tops and jean shorts. Instead of sacrificing comfort this summer to look unique, sticking to simple pieces such as loose T-shirts and jeans can be just as fashion-forward, as long as you wear them confidently and accessorize.
In order to keep cool, yet stick to his personal style, this Fashionisto wears a light baby pink T-shirt paired with a simple black jean and his favorite Chelsea boots. The baby pink color is very popular this season for its versatility and chic clean look as well as its ability to work for both men and women’s fashion. Unlike bright colors such as neon pink and sky blue, baby pink can be paired with many accessories such as this Fashionisto’s circle sunglasses without looking overdone. The sunglasses not only channel this Fashionisto’s inner John Lennon but represent the simplicity he likes to portray in his fashion. They also differ from the typical aviator sunglasses that everyone seems to own.
So while others are out trying to rock multi-layered outfits featuring crazy accessories (for example, scarves and hats) this Fashionisto has recognized the beauty in simplicity (and dryness). He did not need to sacrifice his personal style of simplicity with an urban feel in order to dress this summer and that is a lesson we should all take from him (also that baby pink is so in).
