STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Not Your Boyfriend’s Jeans

Hi loves! Hope you’re all having a RAD week. With fall approaching quickly around the corner and college classes beginning this week, I cannot be more excited to break out the long sleeve tops, sweaters, booties and boyfriend jeans. Just because the temperature is dropping and the holidays are approaching does not mean you need to find a boyfriend to spend your days cuddling up to.

This Fashionista is fully prepared for the chilly weather and all the pumpkin spice lattes that come with the change of the seasons. The black top with the necktie is a great way to incorporate some masculinity into your wardrobe. Not to mention the boyfriend jeans, an absolute go-to of mine for fall. It also gets rid of the need to accessorize with a necklace. She added some rings and a belt to complete the outfit and add some contrast. The shoes tie the look together and make the outfit a little more dressy, rather than just grunge.

Boyfriend jeans are a great thing to have in your closet because you can dress them up or down. Throw on a ripped up V-neck and tie your hair up in a messy bun for a casual and effortless look, or wear a cute blouse, jewelry and some heels to kick it up a notch.

This look is great for class if you’re feeling like putting a little effort in (which I rarely ever am) or for a day out in the city with your friends. So, who needs a boyfriend when you’ve got your boyfriend jeans?
