February 16th, 2016 at 2:10am

Over the cold weather? Tired of hiding your outfits under a long heavy winter coat? Winter in the northeast can be very harsh, and layering is a must; however this Fashionista takes a whole new approach towards winter fashion, proving that you can look super stylish while keeping warm.

As students start their second semester, dressing up for class is not the first thing that comes to mind: staying warm is. But this Fashionista has put to together an outfit that is both warm and fashionable. This Fashionista’s selected outfit falls somewhere in between edgy and boho. She wears an oversized flannel paired with black ripped jeans. You can never go wrong with a flannel due to their comfort and style. Her metallic chained bag also adds more edge to this outfit. Flannels are a great necessity in the winter because they allow you to layer and keep warm.

Now with any outfit, shoes are what tie everything together. This Fashionista wears black Chelsea boots. These boots are essential for the snow because they are water proof. They also have a small heel enough to dress up an outfit, so you can look like you’re going to class or even going out to lunch with friends. To stay warm, she wears a gray hat, fingerless gloves and a large chunky gray sweater.

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK?  “Dressing warm and fashionable can be challenging, but don’t let any type of weather hinder your style. Accessories are key to creating a trendy theme.”
