STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Little Black Dress, Revised

Style Advice of the Week

You’ve heard those tag lines, ”X is the new black.” It’s usually a trend trying to jump ahead of the rest by proclaiming that it stands as the new quintessential color. Despite being a little over used, this saying stands for a reason. Black is a classic color that cannot be trumped by any other, no matter what the season. But, for those days when you don’t want the severity that black can give your outfit, opt for a softer gray or blue dress for the spring. There may be no trumping the little black dress, but there can be alternatives for those days when a little gray dress simply fits your mood better.
