STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Knit and Knee-Length

Fall in Florida does not exist. The leaves don’t change from green to autumn colors, there is no crisp fall air and by no means is there a time to bundle up. October is just a second summer here in Florida. However, with Halloween around the corner and (iced) pumpkin spice lattes in every window, I still get excited for the fall spirit.

This Fashionista was able to balance a super cute fall look while still staying cool in the heat. The key is knee-high socks! These socks are perfect for any transitional look. Pair your favorite summer sundress, or long sweater with a pair of over-the-knee socks to create the perfect look. It’s the best go-to item when you don’t want to let go of last season’s sundresses or if it’s too hot to throw on some pants and boots.

This Fashionista paired her over-the-knee socks with a short sleeved sweater dress, clogs and a sequined cross-body purse. What’s not to love about this outfit? Her clogs dress up her outfit, so she can wear this out to dinner, while her purse gives it a pop of color. If you live somewhere where you do have fall and it is getting a bit chilly, add a scarf and a thick jacket to stay warm and stylish!

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “I don’t want to be the girl who only wears leggings when it begins to cool off. Over-the-knee socks are my new favorite item. Every girl should own a pair!”
