STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Jumpsuit Up

In college, we all have the busy days that we don’t have the time or energy to match an entire outfit. Now it’s time to think about an item in your closet that is grab-and-go yet trendy. Please, forget about the sweatpants! For me, I think jumpsuits are effortless and cool. Jumpsuits can create different styles of look: classic, exotic, tomboy, boho or even punk. The trend hits it big in 2014. I clearly remembered that Kendall Jenner, Selena Gomez and Victoria Beckham all rock this trend on the red carpet. Early fall is the best season to take out your jumpsuit from the closet.

The jumpsuit that this Fashionista picked is a little bit kimono-like—exotic and elegant. You can either wear it for casual occasions or for dress-up events. The color reminds me of this Berlin There Done nail polish from O.P.I. It is like the falling leaves from trees on a lazy Sunday afternoon. The nude shade is always a classy choice. Also, the silk texture brings out the feminine element. To get a more ladylike look, silky items can be used to add a girly tone to your look.

Paired with the neutral-color jumpsuit, this Fashionista keep it simple with the black heels and black shoulder bag. I am also a big fan of minimizing the colors of my outfits. Blocking colors is more suitable for some artsy or boho styles. In this look, you can also change the ballet heels to a pair of comfy loafers.

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “Everything needs a Plan B, and so does fashion. Always prepare a trendy item in your closet that you do not need to spend too much time thinking about what to match. “
