In the summer, keeping cool and looking cool can seem like polar opposites. While the idea of a bathing suit top may seem like the right choice for a top in order to beat the heat, it may not be the best option to wear to a nice dinner or to work. This dilemma has caused me to keep my eyes peeled for heat-friendly clothing.
Rompers, jumpsuits, playsuits, oh my! This Fashionista stepped out of her comfort zone and into an Anthropologie jumpsuit. The trend of shirts and shorts being attached has taken over. Though going to the bathroom may pose to be a challenge, this is the ideal summer look. This Fashionista wore a jumpsuit that had a tight top and a palazzo pant. What makes this trend great is even though she is still wearing a pant, it is a light and breezy fabric that is still great in the heat. With that being said, when the thermometer really starts to rise, it is easy to swap the jumpsuit for a romper to stay on trend. Our Fashionista says she really picked up on this trend while in Italy.
Another thing that made this Fashionista’s jumpsuit stand out was the combination of the top being a single navy blue and the bottom a fun tribal print. Having a simpler top with a really bold patterned pant was a popular look at Coachella and was worn by male and female celebrities, ranging from Kendal Jenner to Jared Leto.
While Coachella has long past, festival season is all summer long. Whether you are wearing your favorite cowboy boots at Country Fest or headed to the Electric Daisy Carnival, the perfect pair of jewelry will go a long way. This Fashionista wore simple daisy earrings that could take you from the office to a concert in a heartbeat. Having jewelry that can be worn at any occasion is definitely a must.
Remember to stay cool this summer by wearing your favorite jumpsuit, and be ready for anything with fun accessories. With this easy trend in mind, dressing for a heat wave will not be an issue this summer.
