STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: It’s All In The Shoes

Style Advice of the Week

Sometimes I see girls walking around campus and I just have to comment on their outfit. More often than not, I am complimenting them on their shoes. As a shoe addict myself, I can’t help but appreciate and lust over other girls’ fabulous footwear. I am always especially appreciative of the girls who wear crazy heels on campus. Some may view it as impractical but I say the sassier the heel, the better—for any occasion.

As a strong believer in the “the better you dress, the better you feel” motto, I say that a Fashionista/o should wear whatever it is that makes them feel best on a day-to-day basis. This Fashionista made a daring choice to wear an incredible pair of shoes around campus, which definitely paid off, as she was looking chic from head to toe when I spotted her.

Taking a risk and wearing crazy shoes will always be a good choice. No matter how casual or formal your outfit, there is always a bold pair of shoes available that will spice up your look and have others complimenting you left and right. And who doesn’t want that, right?

Looking to add some fun shoes to a more casual outfit? Try pairing some over the knee boots with a more casual dress. This T-shirt dress from ASOS paired with some black boots from ALDO is a look that’s casual enough for campus, yet will leave you feeling confident and a little bit sexy (not to mention, comfortable).

If you’re interested in a bolder pair of shoes, try this option from Steve Madden. Even though you may turn some heads, I guarantee it will be for all the right reasons. Those shoes paired with some skinny jeans and a white T-shirt would be simple, chic and just the right amount of sexy.

If you’re looking to shop for some bold shoes to pair with a variety of outfits, try shopping my eBay x CollegeFashionista collection. My eBay collections were curated as part of the CollegeFashionista and eBay collaboration with Style Coalition #FOLLOWITFINDIT.
