Today marks crunch time for those of you celebrating Christmas. Last minute gifts and preparation are in full effect. One thing that should be on your to-do list is planning out your Christmas outfit. Personally, Christmas Eve is a fancier affair, where we dress up in pretty dresses for the evening and the following day is much more relaxed in my household. We tend to wake up pretty early and lounge around in our pajamas all morning eating leftover tamales. When it is time to get dressed, I like to keep my outfit casual but just special enough to be festive. Then I saw the perfect outfit inspiration when I spotted this Fashionista. I absolutely loved how she paired a sweater crop top with a skater skirt and then accompanied it with coordinating tights and scarf.
If you are like me then you are just eager to replicate this outfit. Start with a long sleeve crop top in a sweater material in a cream or off-white color. This will act as the perfect backdrop for a burgundy infinity scarf. I prefer a scarf with some texture such as a knit or fringe. Next wear a skater skirt in a complementary color such as gray. This will also serve as a great backdrop for burgundy colored tights. Complete the outfit with a pair of cream colored socks sticking out from a pair of short combat boots in a darker shade of gray or brown.
This outfit has many strong elements put together however by using textures and colors that complement each other it definitely says holiday perfection!
