Style Advice of the Week

This is the time of year where pulling out that ugly sweater or those sleigh bell earrings is perfectly acceptable. But there are ways of celebrating the holiday season with your wardrobe that shows a much more stylish approach!

With so many holiday parties and events that come with the season of giving, it’s imperative to have something classy and subtle to wear to these events. This Fashionista had no problem showing off her holiday cheer in the chicest of ways!

I loved the maroon cardigan with just a basic white camisole underneath. Cardigans are one of my favorite staples of winter and can be played around with so many different outfit choices. For some cardigans I recommend, check out these fun colors from J.Crew, or this cozy option from American Eagle Outfitters.

I also really loved the slim black pants. They were a great alternative to jeans and made her look a little more dressed up. I would even try a skirt or a pair of dress shorts and tights with this look if you want to go for something a little different.

She pulled her outfit together with a pair of suede booties, a necklace and a red lip. Booties with a good-sized heel are the perfect shoes for going out in the cold. You get the height while still keeping your feet covered and warm. For more booties like hers, I would check out this pair from Nordstrom!

This Fashionista goes to show that even the simplest collaborations can be the most flattering!
