Fashionistas and Fashionistos rejoice! The fall weather is finally starting to peek through the clouds and that means our wardrobes can finally be infused with fall colors, motifs and patterns. I love seeing everyone on campus embracing the new season, and this Fashionista is doing so impeccably.
As we all know, floral prints were huge this spring and summer and it looks like they will be sticking around for fall as well. This time, florals have a harvest-like feel to them due to the use of darker colors and more seasonal flowers. This dress is adorable in both fit and style. The pattern looks like she just went to pick sunflowers, but the black and brown color scheme makes it more fall appropriate (such a great length too)! A dark cardigan could be added to the look if you were feeling a bit chilly.
Black boots are the perfect complement to the dress. This Fashionista’s are Forever 21, and I personally love a cropped boot. The best thing about this dress is that I think most boot styles would work with it. Combat for more of an edgy look, lace-up to look classic and a cowboy to show some western flare.
She’s got the right ingredients to look fashionable! Her finishing touches show off that she really is a true Fashionista. Some rose gold jewelry and a Michael Kors watch bring in the amber and brown tones from the dress. I also love the little touch of camouflage and studs on her bow that perfectly holds her braid in place.
This fall, even if you’re not rocking florals, it’s all about a harvesting your style!
