Don’t you love when your outfit flows with the wind? It was a windy and cloudy day in Tucson and this Fashionista let her outfit go with the wind. She walked out in a pink high-low skirt, a black tank top, Michael Kors watch, Tiffany & Co. bracelet, sunglasses and studded sandals. Some of us can’t afford to walk around in high-end designer clothing or accessories, but this outfit should definitely be in your closet. The outfit is relaxed, comfortable and free.
Let’s talk about making this outfit yours. I’m not the biggest fan of high-low skirts but if you are, try this High-Low Chiffon Skirt from Forever 21. This skirt is perfect because the color really pops and there are shorts under! Maybe you like the idea of a skirt under the chiffon material, try this Embroidered M-Slit Maxi Skirt; it makes for an edgier outfit. The sandals are great, but if you really want them to stand out try these Shoesissima Dara Rose Gold Crystal Trim Flat Sandals from ASOS. The tank top can be bought from anywhere you desire and can have whatever straps, material and color that you prefer. Choosing between a solid or patterned top depends on the skirt.
If you choose to wear a solid skirt, wear a patterned top or you can wear a solid one like this Fashionista. If you go for a patterned skirt then it would be best to wear a solid color top. The Michael Kors watch and Tiffany & Co. bracelet are completely up to the amount of money you have in your bank. If you love the accessories and want some that are affordable try this Metal Linked Boyfriend Watch and this Triple Chain Link Braclet Set, both from Charlotte Russe.
This outfit is perfect for a date during the day, maybe brunch with your beau. You won’t look like you’re trying too hard and this outfit is easy enough to throw on if you’re in a hurry.
My STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK is wear flowy skirts because they’re perfect for this time of year, but consider a skirt made of chiffon because they’re classy. High-low skirts work but if you see something edgier (such as a maxi skirt) then go for that one.
