STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Going Graphic

When it comes to the coolest and chicest fashion bloggers I follow on social media, the number one thing they all have in common in their wardrobes are humorous and catchy graphic tees. I know that we have all seen those cute Instagram posts and thought “where did she get that shirt!?” Graphic T-shirts and crewnecks are the “it-girl” of clothes this season. Whether the shirt exclaims “squad goals” or “but first, coffee,” they are sure to make a fashionable and outspoken statement.

This Fashionista is major outfit inspiration from her head to her toes. The graphic crewneck claiming “The bags under my eyes are designer” is perfect after an all-nighter cramming for an exam. The destroyed boyfriend jeans keep the look less casual and more cutting-edge. When it comes to her shoe choice, she knocked it out of the park with some lace-up heels to top it all off. To accessorize the look she decided to keep it minimal with her reflective Ray-Ban aviators, silver statement bib necklace and Rebecca Minkoff cross-body bag.

The great thing about having a repertoire of catchy graphic T-shirts is that it will always draw eyes to your outfit and usually some compliments to boot. Choosing the perfect graphic T-shirt is very individualistic due to the Fashionistas personality. I always catch myself at the mall seeing a shirt and thinking “I have to have that.” As crazy as it sounds, almost all my graphic T-shirts make it to my Instagram some way or another. It’s the perfect way to express yourself while still staying true to your style. Another positive of this trend is that it can be as versatile as you would like. It can be worn out with friends having a drink or for a study session at the library paired with some leggings. The options are endless.

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “The most important thing to me when choosing outfits is to make sure that you are making a statement about who you are. I am pretty consistent with my style choices but I still make sure to keep up with the most recent trends.”
