Everyone is incredibly and beautifully different. No two people on this planet are just alike. We live in a world where you have to be yourself; everyone else is already taken. Diversity is what makes our world so beautiful; it’s what makes our world so perfectly imperfect. “You were put on this earth to achieve your greatest self, to live out your purpose, and to do it fearlessly.” What does it mean to be fearless? Jumping off of a cliff into deep waters below–is that fearless? Maybe raising your hand to comment in a class full of 500 students–does that make someone fearless? Hmmm. What about waking up and putting on your favorite sweater and boots (whether they matched or not) and flaunting the look all day with a proud posture and a stunning smile? Being yourself, the only you in the whole wide world, and embracing it every day with style…Yes, that sounds fearless to me.
This Fashionista is indeed 100 percent perfectly imperfect in her favorite forest green sweater. She pairs it with a funky graphic T-shirt from Urban Outfitters. She has her top tucked into her black faux leather harem pants to give the look some flawless character. Harem pants are super trendy right now. They’re loose in the thigh, skinny at the ankle and give a fun shape to any outfit. Her scrunched stockings and ankle boots are a perfect addition to complete her hipster opus.
My favorite thing about this Fashionista’s outfit are, as always, her bold accessories. Her funky necklace adds the perfect amount of bling to her casual street style. Her watch and bracelets, all found at local town boutiques, add personality and a pop of color to her fresh look. And let’s not forget her glasses! These babies are a perfect final touch to complete her urban look.
Overall, this Fashionista has a fearless look to strut on campus and a stunning smile to pair it with. My style advice for you this week is to embrace your style every single day and always feel fearless doing it. Be bold, be perfectly imperfect, be fearless, be yourself. “You were put on this earth to achieve your greatest self, to live out your purpose and to do it fearlessly.”
