There is a certain presumed dress code for certain college activities. Some require school pride, some are geared toward business casual and for others, pretty much anything goes. It’s September though and most colleges are preparing to cheer their school’s football team on to victory. I know I am. In these times, jerseys, painted faces and stomachs make their debut. But as we get older there are those who still can’t help but dress up for such occasions. This Fashionisto was looking carefree and handsome at the football game this past Saturday. I normally see fans wearing only UConn paraphernalia; it was refreshing to see a man out sporting this classy preppy ensemble.
Enjoying the nice, crisp fall weather this Fashionisto has opted for light khakis. Khakis add a slightly more dressy feel to any masculine outfit. Whether for a job interview or daily wear, it’s a step up from your everyday wrinkled jeans. He is wearing a laid back chambray shirt to keep warm instead of a typical school sweatshirt. Underneath we can see some UConn pride peeking out of his dark blue T-shirt. This is a great look for fall even outside of the sports realm. Heading out on a date or even going out for a night with the boys this outfit is easy and looks clean and masculine.
Simple accessories such as a timepiece and polished white sneakers finish off the look for a fun Saturday cheering on the Huskies. Gentlemen, dress it up every once and a while. You’ll be looking sophisticated and put together, rather than just the average Joe!
