STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Fall Fashion

Fall has always been one of my favorite seasons; there are just so many things to love about it! Pumpkin spice lattes, apple picking, hay rides…AND one of my absolute favorite things, fall fashion.

Featured in this blog post is a Fashionista who also loves fall! Today, we decided to walk around the Bronx and explore. It was a perfect fall day that was kind of overcast, but not too cold. We ended up going to the Bronx Zoo, which is super close to Fordham. We saw a bunch of animals and cool exhibits, and then we found a cute fall-themed area (there were bails of hay and pumpkins everywhere) which is where I took some pictures of her.

She’s wearing a cute tan and white striped sweater, which is perfect to wear during the fall whether you are inside a coffee shop studying, in class or outside walking around. She pairs the sweater with black jeans, which work well with many fall outfits. For shoes, she is wearing tan and black riding boots, which really complete the look and give it an autumn feel. The colors in her outfit work really well for fall; there are actually a lot of colors that are in this season, including burgundy, coffee-brown, forest green, tan, oatmeal-gray and black.

Last year, we didn’t do many fall activities because we were still adjusting to college (we were both freshmen last year), so this year we are planning to do lots of fall stuff. We want to go apple/pumpkin picking, and maybe even go to a haunted house when it gets closer to Halloween.
