STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Dress with an Edge

In the ever-changing San Francisco weather, sunny days are always accompanied with cool wind breezes and the approaching Karl the Fog. It can be rather challenging to pick out a cute outfit without getting sick. However, this Fashionista has definitely proved to us that it is not impossible! With a simple midi dress, staying warm in San Francisco is not a problem.

This midi dress trend has been a hit for a while as it is rather versatile for many occasions. It can be dressed up with heels and a structured jacket or dressed down with sandals and cardigan. There are an unlimited amount of combinations to wear with midi dresses, but my personal favorite is to pair with a cropped jean jacket or leather jacket, a pair of sneakers and a long statement necklace if the dress is plain. It gives me great comfort to walk around with an edge.

This Fashionista has definitely dressed in my favorite way. Her booties give her enough comfort on the feet to walk around the city, while her black leather bomber jacket gives her upper body some structured lines. The bomber gives the outfit an edgier and sporty look. In addition, it also helps draw the attention to her long legs and nice body proportion as it is cropped at the waist.

The midi dress is something that I will keep wearing throughout the summer and fall because I can experiment with so many different ways. I highly encourage you to try all the unexpected combinations and be surprised at how good it can look!
