Oh, fall. A time for boots, cider mills, cute jackets, tailgates and pumpkin spice lattes. Easily my favorite season of the year, it’s also my favorite season for clothing. I’m a huge sucker for scarves and boots, jackets and sweaters. As more and more of the leaves start to change, it’s definitely time to start phasing these items into your daily wardrobe. Spotted on the way to class, this Fashionista knew exactly how to dress for the cold mornings and hot afternoons of mid-September.
Among the long list of things that make me think of fall, denim is definitely one of them. Jean jackets are in full swing, and I’m never as elated as the first day where I can wear my favorite jeans to class and not feel uncomfortably hot. This stylish student put a little twist on that idea, and wore this adorable denim dress. Styled like an oversized dress shirt, its long sleeves are perfect for the chillier weather, but also for keeping her cool when the sun comes out. When we get further into fall, this dress would look killer with some tights and riding boots, warming up the bare legs and sandal look that this Fashionista rocked.
To complete the look, this chic lady paired her button-down dress with an adorable scarf, adding a little more autumn into her look. This Fashionista’s dark pink scarf added a splash of color and kept her statement fall piece still looking slightly summery. While I’m all about having a pop of color, neutrals such as this slightly floral, hunter green scarf from Urban Outfitters would warm up the look in the depths of fall. This style maven completed her outfit with timeless accessories—some bright earrings, sunglasses, an adorable brown leather bag (perfect for class days) and a to die for Michael Kors watch. Effortlessly merging the end of her summer wardrobe with the beginning of her fall closet, this Fashionista was dressed perfectly for a casual autumn day of class.
