STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Cut It Out

March 23rd, 2016 at 2:00am

Spring has finally sprung, which means its time to bring out the shades, sandals and smiles! I love the warmer weather, especially because it means that classes are closer to being done and summer is just around the corner. However, there are still a few more months of tests and lectures, which means that us Fashionistas/os still have to be stylin’ for class. This Fashionista really rocks the springtime look, while still being confident and comfortable!

This Fashionista starts her outfit out with a classic pair of blue jeans that are cuffed at the bottom, which gives the look a casual yet chic edge. She pairs her staple jeans with a pair of go-to Birkenstocks, which allows her to get to and from classes while looking cute and being comfortable. Finally, she pairs this great teal cutout top to complete her look. I love this top! The cutout detailing at the shoulders and the teal color make a statement that really keeps the outfit unique and trendy.

To finish the outfit, this Fashionista rocks some great accessories! She wears this great statement necklace that varies in shades of blue, which tie together the blue from the jeans and the teal from the shirt, as well as introducing some new shades. She pairs this with a staple gold watch and some stylish shades to keep that spring-time sun out of her eyes. With an outfit like this, this Fashionista is ready to take on spring in comfort and confidence!

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “I always try to be comfortable and be myself. You should act confident in your own skin, no matter what you wear, and once you do that, others will notice and dig the confidence.”
